About Amy

 Amy’s Story

Amy Moss-Archambault is a dedicated triathlete and Personal Trainer with what is likely one of the most unique competitive histories. Early in 2009, after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and a tumor on her pituitary gland, Amy started training for her first triathlon as a way to feel some control over her illness. A few months into her training, she learned she was pregnant with her third child. Although others may have packed it in, Amy kept training and competed in her first try-a-tri when she was five months pregnant. She came in almost dead last, but when she spotted her husband Peter and two older kids cheering her on at the finish line, a new passion was born.

In five short years, Amy has become a fierce and well-known competitor in the women’s sprint-distance triathlon category, culminating in competing for Canada at the ITU World Championships in September, 2013. Amy now shares her love for fitness and health by providing fun, yet challenging fitness classes to people of all skill levels. Her philosophy of “Courage is not the absence of fear but the mastery of fear” inspires people to achieve their goals one step at a time.
